We designed the toy bins from one 4×8 – 3/4″ sheet of plywood. We utilised a separate 1/4″ sheet that we now had for the backing. When set jointly, the toy cubby steps 36″ x 14 3/4″ x 32″.

  • 3/4″ Sheet of plywood

  • Sand paper
  • 1¼“Brad nails
  • Paint/Primer or Stain of choice

Action 1: Slice Pieces & Drill Pocket Holes

Slice out the cubby items as indicated in in the toy organizer woodworking program, which include the mitered edges. Drill pocket holes as indicated in the designs.

Action 2: Assemble Person Cubbies

Working with pocket holes and wooden glue, assemble 3 cubby sections.

Action 3: Set up Dividers

Measure and mark the divider areas, then nail in spot.

Action four: Stack and Insert Backing

Stack the 3 cubby sections. Slice a sheet of plywood to the right dimensions and screwed it on to the again. This will hold every shelf in spot. To be able to stack and unstack the cubbies, slash person backing items for every cubby segment.

Action five: Finishing the Cubby Storage Cabinets
